Mr Turk put me at ease and quickly confirmed the absence of any indicators of prostate cancer. He prescribed medication which has helped in my incontinence.

I had a consultation with Mr.Turk in November 2023, regarding my enlarged prostate. Mr.Turk was very kind with his time, and answered all my questions, even though he was very busy, with a full waiting room of patients waiting to see him. Mr Turk talked me through the options and the procedures that were available to me. I have to decide which procedure to undergo, and Mr. Turk wanted me to take my time to think it through, and did not put me under any pressure what so ever. We talked in detail about the operation and the possible outcome. He looked me in the eyes, the whole time, and I felt very comfortable that this surgeon new what he was talking about. Mr.Turk shuck my hand, and I left the hospital feeling like this surgeon has my best interests at heart.

Precise, conscise and sympathetic in delivering a verdict of prostate cancer. My only hesitation was that he strongly recommended a TURP operation which is necessarily invasive but did not explain that a large part of the reason for this is to ensure effective radiotherapy treatment through minimised urine retention. I have since discovered this to be the case from my website research and from further discussion with the CNS team.

I have always been treated in a respectful and friendly manner by Mr. Turk, as one man to another and not just as doctor and patient. He is always willing to spend time explaining diagnosis and treatments. He is very understanding and is easy to talk to.
